affecting the snack food industry, as well as providing them
with comprehensive information on the snack food industry.
The association is also a leading source of U.S. snack food
sales data and trends within the industry.
State of the Industry Report
SFA publishes an annual State of the Industry Report. This
authoritative report examines domestic sales of snack food
by category. Sales figures are determined from scanned market
research data, a SFA membership survey, and discussions with
industry participants. In 1999, SFA joined forces with Snack
Food & Wholesale Bakery magazine to produce a joint report
that includes bakery foods and specialty snacks, in addition
to savory snacks.
Who's Who in the International Snack Food
Industry
This must-have, easy-to-use directory provides information
on all SFA member companies (domestic and international)
including key contacts, brands, products produced, number
of employees and distribution methods. This directory is
updated annually.
SFA Membership Survey
SFA takes the pulse of the snack food industry through an
annual membership survey. Results of the survey are used
to compile industry-wide costs and profitability, and packaging
in the snack food industry.
The Snack Report
The Snack Report newsletter is published weekly via fax
and e-mail and is posted on the member's only section of
SFA's web site. It keeps SFA members up-to-date on association
activities while also highlighting snack food industry news
and events.
Monthly In-Depth Report
SFA publishes a monthly section in Snack Food & Wholesale
Bakery magazine, the premiere snack food and bakery industry
magazine. The SFA section features information on the latest
industry news, marketing updates, technical advances and
international developments in the snack food industry.
