SFA encourages participation by all members in association
activities by providing the opportunity to serve on committees.
The committees are directly involved in all aspects of the
association from convention planning and finances to directing
promotions and overseeing SFA-sponsored research.
SFA offers several membership categories:
Domestic Business Member
Available to any U.S. firm that
manufactures and markets extruded, sheeted, parched, baked,
fried, dried, puffed
or popped vegetable, fruit,grain, nut or meat-based snacks
in the United States.
Domestic Associate Member
Available to any individual or
firm based in the United States that is associated with
the snack food industry,
except as
a manufacturer of snacks.
International Business Member
Available to non-U.S. firms
that manufacture and market snack foods outside the United
States.
International Associate Member
Available to any individual or firm based and operating
outside the U.S. that is associated with the
snack food industry,
except as a manufacturer of snacks.
